Last year, the new owners of Cana Vineyards in Middleburg, Virginia, asked me to create a logo and branding effort for their winery. The logo was designed as if it was a window showing a stylized representation of the mountains seen from the winery’s front porch. I designed this year’s wine labels to fully embrace that idea, by showing an abstract image in the logo itself. The images were carefully selected to visually represent the content of the bottles, and each wine has a unique Haiku on the back label that describes the wine in a creative way.
I’m thrilled with the way these labels turned out, especially when you see them all lined up on the shelf.
