We are inundated by numbers of Coronavirus cases and deaths every time we turn on the news or go online. When you hear about the potentially hundreds of thousands, and even millions, of deaths caused by the virus, it is a sobering thought. As of today (4/2/2020), 6,605 Americans have lost their lives to the virus, and that number continues to climb rapidly.
Below is a simple visualization of the U.S. population, which is approximately 330,000,000.
This chart is in no way meant to make light of the dire situation we are experiencing at the moment, but as a visual person, it helped me to see things in a different way, and I hope it can bring some clarity to others as well. Please feel free to share this post if you found it useful.
