Over the years, I’ve designed my fair share of annual reports for companies, and I was recently asked to put together something a little different–rather than going with a typical printed report or even a standard emailed PDF, a client asked me to design a report that would be sent as an email.
It was an interesting project that took a good bit of thought — how to condense a lot of “boring info and stats” and present it in a way that could be read quickly, while looking good. The biggest challenge was designing something that could be built using the client’s custom email development tool, which was fairly limiting. I think it turned out pretty well!

This format worked well for this project, since there wasn’t as much information to convey as you might find in other annual reports. The client definitely saved a ton of money on printing and shipping!
